History The purpose of the Menominee Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is economic development for Native and non-Native businesses located on or near the Menominee Reservation / County. The Menominee Chamber will promote its programs and initiatives, help member companies improve their public image, expand their market through sponsorship, advertising and other promotions. Incorporated as a non-profit in early 2005, membership in the Chamber is open to all business, professional and economic development organizations that support the purposes of this association. Membership is annual. Purpose The purpose of this organization is economic development for Native and non-Native businesses in Menominee County. Its mission is to promote members and affiliates of the Chamber. This is a membership driven organization. Its focus is the creation, expansion and diversification of American Indian-owned enterprises through business education, informational resources and business networking. It is open to all businesses, professionals and economic development organizations that support the Chamber. The Chamber is non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-profit. It is not committed to the support or endorsement of any candidate for public office. Meetings Regular meetings for all members are held at least quarterly. Annual meetings are once/year.
